RAIDERS captain Jarrod Croker is set to pass former Raiders player Jason Croker's record of 318 matches after re-signing with the club.

Jarrod, 29, signed a four year deal, which will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2024 season.

Since making his debut for the Raiders in 2009, Jarrod has played 257 matches and is set to pass his distant relative Jason Croker's record of 318 matches during the term of his new contract.

Jarrod is also the leading point scorer for the club and leading try scorer for the club with 127 tries. He sits seventh on the list of all-time NRL point scorers and is on track to climb higher on this list.

The Goulburn junior was made captain of the club at the beginning of the 2015 season and has won a host of awards for the club including the Meninga Medal (2014) and club person of the year (2019). He was also named Dally M Captain of the Year in 2016.

Jarrod says signing the new deal on the eve of the new season was special for him, saying he only ever wanted to re-sign with the club he loves.

“I'm a Raider and I always want to be a Raider,” Jarrod says.

“I only ever want to play for one club in the NRL and that's the Raiders and hopefully I can see out my career here.

“I feel very fortunate that I've been able to sign a new deal before the start of the season, and I know I now have to continue to work hard, play my best footy and not take this opportunity for granted.”

Jarrod says the goal for him is to now steer the side to a premiership.

“I want to win a premiership for this club and this community,” he says.

“We had a great season in 2019 and its up to me along with Josh Hodgson to help lead the team to another successful season.

“The squad has shown plenty of commitment and hard work during the pre-season and we know we've got plenty of hard work ahead.”

Raiders CEO Don Furner says the re-signing of Croker is something the whole club and community can be proud of and his contribution on and off the field was the benchmark for the club.

“I'm really happy for Jarrod to re-sign and continue his wonderful career with our club,” he says.

“He's a local product who has worked hard to get himself into the NRL and establish an NRL career any player would be proud of. He's already broken numerous records and he's set to break more before his career is finished.”

In 2020, Raiders rugby jerseys are still designed and launched by ISC. Huawei as its main sponsor appeared in the center of the jersey. In addition to Huawei, the Canberra Raiders signed Orchy Juice as their main club sponsor in 2020.

This new agreement will continue until the end of the NRL season in 2022, and its goal is to remain long enough to become a milk champion.

Orchy CEO Birley Kingston said the sponsorship strategy was effortless, especially after the recent legalization of cannabis owned and grown for personal use in the country's capital.

"Orchy bottles have always been called the Australian green machinery, so it makes sense that we hope that we can become the main sponsor of Canberra Green Machinery"

As part of the deal, Orchy will also take over the naming rights of the Canberra Regional Football League (CDRL) center in Bradton, which is now called the Packer Cone Center-it will become the future headquarters of the Canberra Raiders.

In addition to the new sponsors, The Raiders also made some changes to the club logo on the jersey, but the design has not changed from 2019.

The same is true for the away jersey, except for the new logo, there is no change in other parts of the jersey.

The new Raiders jersey is made of 100% polyester and integrated with ISC's AXIS manufacturing to maintain comfort and body temperature. In addition, the Raiders team and sponsor logo and the fully sublimated team colors make you proud of the Canberra boys. Welcome to buy!
